One of the main benefits of using Oroson for feedback is being able to annotate directly on a file when giving feedback. Unlike email or phone calls, you don’t have to describe where or what you want something changed; instead, you simply drop a pin and let others know why and how you want something changed.

In article, you will learn how to:

  • Leave pinpointed comments on a file

  • Delete a pin before leaving a comment

  • Remove a pin but not the associated comment

Leave pinpointed comments on a file

You can leave specific comments on all upload files within Oroson, this includes videos, images, documents, GIFs, HTLML5, and more. To leave a pinpointed comment, follow these steps:

  1. Click into the desired file where you want to leave feedback

  2. Locate a place where you’d like to drop a pin

  3. Click that location

  4. Type your associated comment

  5. Send the comment

Once the comment has been sent, your feedback and the associated pin will be visible in the application. Furthermore, other project members will be notified of your feedback via email.

Delete a pin before leaving a comment

If you’ve dropped a pin in error and you have not left any feedback, you can always delete the pin. To delete the pin, follow these steps:

  1. Locate where you’ve dropped the pin

  2. Select the red X to delete the pin

Removing a pin but not the written comment

If you would like to delete the pin associated with a pinned comment you’ve left previously, you are always able to do so by following these steps:

  1. Locate the pinned comment where you want to delete the pin

  2. Select the setting gear on the bottom right of the comment

  3. Select ‘Remove Pin’

Once you remove the pin, the comment will stay on the file as a general comment.
