When new activity happens in your Oroson account, you will be notified both in the application and via email. You can manage email and in-app notifications on both a workspace and project level.

Email activity notifications are bundled every 15 minutes to prevent teammates and guests from being overwhelmed in their inbox.

Oroson users will be notified via email when:

Frequency of Email Notifications

Invited to a workspace or project

When a teammate or guest is invited to access the workspace or a project, they will receive an email immediately.

Invite emails will look like this:

The email content will change depending on the permissions of the invited user.

New content is added to a project

When new content is added to a project, the content updates are bundled every 15 minutes.

For example, if someone adds 10 new items to a board within a 15-minute period, project members will receive one email alert.

New content emails will look like this:

Only unread notifications are sent via email; if a user has already seen the new notifications within the application, they will not receive an email.

New comments are added to an item or the project chat

When new comments are added to a single item, the comments for a single item are bundled every 15 minutes.

For example, if two commenters leave feedback on an item within a 15-minute period, project members will receive one email notification regarding all comments on that item. However, if comments are left on two items on a board within a 15-minute period, project members will receive two emails for each item.

Comment email notifications will look like this:

Only unread notifications are sent via email; if a user has already seen the new comment notifications within the application, they will not receive an email.
